Relic Basics

What are relics?

Relics are special items that you can collect and are stored in specific slots on your characters equipment screen. You have 4 normal relic slots by default and one quest relic slot. You can unlock an additional normal relic slot by completing the The Fall of Darkness Quest.
Each relic can be leveled up by finding another copy of the same relic, up to a maximum of 10 levels.

How do I get relics?

You can find relics from chests and shrines. Better sources include:

Satanic Zone with the buff which grants a x% chance to drop relics on monster kill
Codex with either Orb of Relic or the Codex Runeword Codex of Relic Feast

You have a higher chance to find the same relic as the ones you already own, which helps you level them up more easily. Which also means that you should destroy relics you don't want, to increase the chance of finding the correct ones.
